Public health is a discipline that helps to prevent and cast away the dreadful outbreak of diseases and to establish a healthy state of communities across the many nations. Public health professionals come from varied educational backgrounds and differ in the kind of public health related work they engage in. They are involved in areas such as health education, medical services, environmental health, epidemiology, nutrition, women and child health, laboratory practice of public health among many others. There are three significant aims of public health as described by various regulatory authorities. These aims are:
To protect, promote and improvise public health, above and beyond insignificant boundaries.
To protect means to analyze and measure the benefits and risks associated with any therapeutic medicine.
To promote means to educate the people about the benefits in association with a product or device.
To improvise means to encourage and to help researchers to develop new therapies that have the potential to diagnose or cure prevalent diseases.
Various effective programs in public health are the need of the hour in many regions across the globe such as the countries in the Middle East and the African continent.
